Yes. Every SolidSafe™ power bank meets TSA power bank regulations and is airline-approved for carry-on travel. Each model is rated below the 100 Wh limit, making it safe to bring on domestic and international flights. Always check with your individual airline since power bank travel rules can vary as policies evolve. The solid-state battery designadds extra safety and stability compared to traditional lithium-ion packs, making SolidSafe™ one of the safest power banks for air travel.
How is the solid-state design of SolidSafe™ different from traditional lithium-ion power banks?
Most power banks today use lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery cells filled with a flammable liquid electrolyte. When those cells overheat or get damaged, that liquid can react under pressure and cause fires or explosions.
SolidSafe™ uses a semi-solid-state cell, not a traditional liquid one. The liquid content is reduced to about 2.5%, replaced with a gel-like electrolyte that stays cool and stable. This chemistry resists heat and impact, greatly lowering the risk of cell fires while improving long-term performance. It’s been tested against drills, nails, and cuts that would destroy a normal pack.

The USB-C port delivers 20 W fast charging for iPhone 17, iPhone 16, iPad, and most Android phones and tablets that support PD 20 W.
Does the SolidSafe™ support pass-through charging?
Yes. SolidSafe 10K supports pass-through charging, letting you charge the power bank and your device at the same time through USB-C Power Delivery. You can plug in your phone, tablet, or earbuds while the SolidSafe recharges. The solid-state battery is built for safe, efficient charging, making it a dependable portable power bank for travel and everyday use.
Can I use any charger or cable with SolidSafe?
Yes. SolidSafe 10K includes a 60 W USB-C cable, which is the best way to recharge it quickly and safely. You can also use most USB-C cables and wall chargers that support Power Delivery (PD) above 20 W. The SolidSafe 5K accepts up to 15 W PD input, so any PD-rated charger from 20 W – 65 W will work perfectly.
Avoid very low-power USB-A or non-PD chargers, as they’ll charge slowly. For best results, use a USB-C PD wall charger (30 W or higher) with a certified USB-C to USB-C cable.
How long does it take to recharge the SolidSafe™ 10K?
SolidSafe 5K recharges through its 27W USB-C PD input. Using the included 60 W USB-C cable and a PD wall charger rated 20 W or higher, it reaches about 80% charge in roughly one hour and a full charge soon after. The higher-rated charger doesn’t overcharge the battery, it simply provides stable 27 W delivery for faster, consistent charging
